The short version. FoodieMerge is a single-player offline game. We don't make you sign in, we don't have a server, we don't sell anything you do in the game. Three external services may touch the game — Apple/Google for purchases, Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads you choose to watch, and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports. Each one is explained below.
1. Who we are
FoodieMerge is published by Inceptyon Labs LLC, a limited liability company organized in the state of Florida, USA. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Inceptyon Labs LLC. “You” means the person playing the game.
If you have a question about anything below, email privacy@foodiemerge.com.
2. What we collect — the short table
| Source | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The game on your device | Your save file (town progress, items, coins). | So the game remembers where you left off. Stored locally only. Never sent anywhere. |
| Apple App Store / Google Play | Purchase receipts when you buy a coin pack. | Required to grant or restore what you bought. We never see your payment method. |
| Google AdMob | If you opt in to a rewarded ad: IP address, ad/video interactions, diagnostics, and device or advertising identifiers where available. | To show a non-personalized rewarded ad, prevent fraud, and confirm you earned the reward. |
| Firebase Crashlytics | If the game crashes: stack trace, device model, OS version, anonymous installation ID. | To find and fix the bug. |
Nothing else. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifying information. The game itself does not require a sign-in.
3. The detailed version
3.1 The game on your device
When you play FoodieMerge, your progress (town state, owned items, coins) is saved locally on your device. We do not upload your save data to any server. If you delete the app, the save is gone.
3.2 Purchases
If you buy an in-app purchase (a coin pack, a basket pack), the transaction is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase and an anonymous transaction ID. We never see your payment method, billing address, or any other financial information.
FoodieMerge stores a local purchase record after a purchase is granted so duplicate receipts are not granted twice. Restore Purchases uses Apple and Google store APIs; there is no separate purchase-sync provider.
3.3 Opt-in rewarded ads
You will never see an ad you didn't ask for. There are no banners, no interstitials, no full-screen video on launch. The only ads in FoodieMerge are rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus (an extra basket, a coin tip).
If you tap “Watch ad,” the ad is served by Google AdMob. FoodieMerge requests non-personalized ads only, marks ad requests as child-directed and under the age of consent, and sets the maximum ad content rating to G. AdMob may receive:
- Your IP address, which can be used to estimate general location
- Ad and video interaction events, such as impression, click, and completion
- Diagnostic information about the app and the ad SDK
- Device or advertising identifiers where available, such as the Android advertising ID
Google uses this information to show the ad, measure performance, prevent fraud, and confirm that you earned the reward. We receive only a confirmation that the ad played so we can grant the in-game bonus. FoodieMerge does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use AdMob for cross-app behavioral targeting.

You can reset or delete advertising identifiers in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads
If you never tap “Watch ad,” AdMob does not receive any data from your device through FoodieMerge.
3.4 Crash reports
If FoodieMerge crashes while you are playing, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a crash report so we can fix the bug. The report includes:
- The stack trace of the crash
- Your device model (e.g., “iPhone 15 Pro”)
- Your OS version (e.g., “iOS 18.2”)
- The app version
- An anonymous installation ID
The report does not include your save data, items, town name, or any other gameplay information.

4. Children's privacy
FoodieMerge is designed to be safe for children to play, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
When a child plays FoodieMerge:
- The game requires no account and asks for no personal information.
- Rewarded ads are opt-in. If you'd like to disable them entirely for a child, simply don't tap “Watch ad” — there is no way for the game to show one without that explicit tap. When an ad is requested, FoodieMerge asks AdMob for a non-personalized, child-directed, G-rated ad.
- In-app purchases on iOS “Ask to Buy” and Google Play Family Library setups require parental approval — that is between you, your family, and the App Store / Google Play.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has triggered data collection by AdMob or Crashlytics and you'd like that data deleted, email privacy@foodiemerge.com and we will initiate deletion requests on your behalf.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the European General Data Protection Regulation as it applies to children (GDPR-K).
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Know what we collect about you (this page).
- Access your data. Since we don't store anything personally identifying about you ourselves, there's typically nothing for us to retrieve — but if you have outstanding AdMob, Crashlytics, or store-purchase records, email us and we will initiate access requests on your behalf.
- Delete your data. Uninstalling the app removes all local save data. To delete crash reports or rewarded-ad data, email privacy@foodiemerge.com. We will action your request within 30 days.
- Object to processing — you can do this at any time by uninstalling the app and not using opt-in ads.
EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
6. Data retention
- Save data: lives on your device until you delete the app.
- Crash reports: retained by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days, then deleted.
- AdMob events: retained per Google's standard ad data retention policies.
- Purchase receipts: retained by Apple or Google under their store policies. FoodieMerge keeps local purchase grant records while the app is installed.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit between FoodieMerge and the third-party services listed above. Save data on your device is protected by your device's standard application sandboxing.
No security measure is perfect. If you become aware of a security issue with FoodieMerge, please email privacy@foodiemerge.com.
8. International users
FoodieMerge is operated from the United States. By using the game, you understand that your data may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. For transfers of personal data from the EU/EEA to the U.S., we rely on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the game's “What's New” notes.
